LOL Benavidez fans kill me. Marinate for what? It’s been marinated and it’s time Benavidez fight someone his age/size. No 37 year olds or fighters way smaller than him.

Wait a minute , aren't you the same guy making excuses for why Canelo shouldn't have to fight his best competition and mandatory contender ?
Anyone making excuses for fighters ducking their best competition is not a boxing fan.
It makes no sense for these two guys to fight each other now when it would only appeal to some boxing fans , versus later when it could be a huge fight that breaks into the mainstream consciousness , thereby bringing new eyes into boxing and hopefully making some more boxing fans , something that the sport badly needs. Think about it. Neither one even has a belt right now.

He can only fight guys willing to get in the ring with him. You know how boxing works. If you could just order whoever you want to fight you it would be fantastic , but it does not work that way.
I might have confused you with someone else on the Canelo thing. If so , I apologize.

It should come as no surprise that my horse in this race is the Cuban. That said, the career trajectory of these two men is a little off. Although they’re approximately the same age, Morrell has considerably less professional experience. I’d like to see David get a couple of more fights with boxers of at least Kalajdzic’s level before setting up a clash with the Mexican Monster. I know a lot of you guys are touting Morrell over Benny, but I’m not so sure about that at the moment. Ten fights against so-so opposition isn’t convincing. I know David looks good, but c’mon. At Morrell’s work rate, we’re looking at one year from now — minimum.

Won't happen, I'm confident Morrell KOs Benavidez. Benavidez has failed to address the obvious bad habits because he's bigger than the majority of 168lbers.

Benavidez Whines about Canelo not wanting to fight him, but at the same time, acts the same way towards Morrell.

Because Morrell is a 10 fight nobody. This is just about haters desperate to see Benavidez lose and thinking Morrell is their man. Lets talk about Morrells flaws? And when he is going to fight a single opponent ranked top 10?
