Shakur Stevenson Breaks Silence On Gervonta Davis Talks

Written by Tom Eaton on 2nd August 2024.

So according to this new article , Shakur is waiting in PBC and Davis’s team to send an offer
Then I continue to read that he had an agreement in principle with Zepeda
    Isn’t this a conflict of interest ???
Although I do keep hope that Shakur doesn’t price himself out from any of these fights

Zepeda is big and strong, so I expect Shakie to demand huge money on this fight. But that may be irrelevant if Turki is funding the event. I expect some compromises on both sides in the Tank fight because Wahid has no other choices.

Nah, I didn't take middleweight Haney's offer seriously. Who is he Turki? I knew he can no longer fight at lightweight. The offer was just some silly chest-thumping display of arrogance 'I am in control' kind of nonsense. Last time I checked he put the so-called 25% into figure which was $8 million. Haha, what a clown. And he's supposed to get $24 mil for his 75%. Who would believe such fairy tale? And who would be silly enough to fund such fight? Hearn didn't even place a bid on the Haney/Martin, which was probably a more attractive fight for fans.

I actually see it the opposite way
Tank needs a dance partner to make the ppv worthy
Zepeda is nothing more than a mando

The $8 million offer (so-called 25%) is all over Youtube, social media and many news outlets. Haney is supposed to be getting $24 million. Who would believe such fairy tale? Why would any promoter spend $32 million for unpopular fighters? Bottom line is it's a fake offer.

i saw haney offer 25% to shakur on social media and shakur laughed and said im worth more, eh no hes not worth more and it was for undisputed, he didnt even call his bluff if it was a bluff so noone knows for sure if it was fake or not, im saying it was a real offer because haney offered him 25% and shakur said go away, they are facts the rest is hearsay

It's a fake offer to me from the get go. The guy even have a hard time making weight at 140. He looked like a zombie in the Kambosos weigh in. That alone would make me doubt anything coming from Haney's mouth at that time.
