I wonder if Navarrete isn't on the verge of being shopworn now.

O Shaqui, Robson, Valdez, and Navaratte are all about the same level. What else is there in the 130 lbs?
Ironically, since Conceicao has fought them all, we got to see that Valdez and Navarrete are about at his level but should both have lost to him, but Foster is a level above and should have won. So the guys who have wins over Conceicao shouldn't, and the guy who lost to him, should have won. I got Foster as the best of those 4.

There's some more talent though. You got former champs Leigh Wood, Mark Magsayo, Hector Garcia, and Joe Cordina, current champs Lamont Roach and Anthony Cacace, who you left out for some reason, and an assortment of guys like Zelfa Barrett, Ray Ford, and Kenichi Ogawa. I think there's a few undefeated guys too that I don't know.

Very good point given how desperate Valdez it at this stage.

I thought that Navarette was drunk in his last fight , that's how terrible he was. It could be wear and tear from his style caught up to him. I guess that we will find out in this fight what he has left , that is if Valdez has enough left to press the fight. Interesting fight. The loser will have very diminished options.

Nava is on thin ice too: struggled against Wilson, Conceicao, and Berinchyk. Additionally, Valdez got caught under WBC/VADA. WBO isn't involved with VADA, nor do they require an extra layer of testing iirc.

Yeah I know. My boy needs a clear, decisive win, likely by KO, to get back on track.

Most likely they will be match in house and keep the titles in house. Ray Ford is 126 pounder who lost to Ball.

He petitioned for a ranking at 130 with the WBC, last I heard. I did well with that fight with Nick Ball. Easiest underdog pick in years.
