But that's not what Bomac said.

McIntyre told BoxingScene that Crawford’s ultimate pursuit of Alvarez is more about the fighter’s internal drive than how greatly he’ll be compensated.

Nobody believes that. I'm sure Benavidez would gladly meet Bud at 168. I just wish people would be real about it. It's a cash grab and nothing more.

Hey, go for it, but I don't wanna hear ANY excuses if it happens and he gets starched.

Could end up like Charlo. Never heard from again lol. I think Crawford would at least try to win, though. TBH. I don't think it happens. Canelo isn't looking to fight anybody who could beat him. If he's fighting a guy like Berlanga, he's just going to coast into retirement.

Yes, but does Canelo want Crawford.
No point of wanting Scarlett Johnson when she does want you.
No point of Shakur wanting Tank if Tank doesn't want to face him.
So Shakur has to go the Zepeda route. Now Crawford will have to go the Vergil route, if they both win.

Danny garcie has not been serious since that thurman fight and spence fought him for name value. Ugas is avarage who did nothing, only thing he did was beat Retired manny and lost to Barrios of all people. The guy has been living off his Olympic bronze medal.

If Crawford cannot fight Alvarez next then he will fight Fundora.

Yeah, I think that's the point of getting the 154 belt. It sets up any number of good fights. Fundora, Ortiz, Tszyu, Charlo. Canelo could be a pipe dream. Who knows? Maybe Turki throws big money at a Boots/Crawford fight.

It's amazing how many people don't understand this simple concept. Beating Madrimov and getting the belt at 154 makes Bud a 4 division champion, gives him a shot at the first 3 division undisputed, and sets up any number of big fights, from Tszyu, Fundora, Spence rematch, Ortiz Jr, etc, to making a Canelo fight look more reasonable. Beating Boots gets him a belt back that he never lost in the ring over a guy who everyone will, rightly, say was too green because of his crap resume, and set up no big fights at all. SMH. If Boots actually wants that smoke he'll be ringside on Saturday. I have my doubts, personally.

Well thankfully history doesn't revolve around your asterisks. Vinny Pazienza fought for another 13 years after his accident. If Spence wasn't fit to fight a doctor wouldn't/shouldn't have cleared him and he should've retired. But he obviously was. He had beaten Garcia and Ugas after his accident. No one told him to get drunk and flip his Ferrari. Idiot is lucky he didn't kill anyone. Funny you can afford a Ferrari but not an Uber ride home. Sorry but a prime, pre accident, pre-cataract Spence is not in the same league as Crawford talentwise...
