Porter still had a lot left when he fought Spence. Spence looked great in that fight. Not every fight is going to be easy. Porter was no walk in the park. And Porter was way better than Peterson.

Do you guys remember when Bobby Boucher showed up at halftime and the Mad dogs won the Bourbon bowl?

Spence is probably mulling retirement at this point. You know what they say once these athletes make several life changing career high paydays and have earned enough to really never have to worry about finances again, particularly with the rather modest life Spence lives. In addition to that his family wants him to retire, he doesn't have a trainer and he's 34 1/2 years old, an not a young 34 with the many brawls he's had. If anything Spence is moreso trying to save face from the brutal beat down he took last summer but is it really worth it? His punch resistance seemed pretty shot vs Bud and his post plastic surgery reconstructed face literally turned pink..

Julius indongo was undefeated b4 Bud. After Bud, he went 2 wins 9 losses and was stopped 6 times. Jeff Horn was undefeated b4 Bud aside from a draw, after Bud went 2-2, was stopped twice. Jose Benavidez was undefeated for 8 years b4 Bud. After Bud, was out of the ring for 3 years, came back had 1 win, 1 draw and 2 losses. After Bud, Amir Khan came back and beat Billy Dib then got smoked by Kell Brook. He hasn't been heard from since. Kell Brook lost to Bud then beat flames out of Khan but hasn't fought again. Shawn Porter gave his all, as usual, but he retired after Bud stopped him. Bud gave anesthesia to Avanesyan. He came back got a win then Ennis gave him amnesia. But you have to gives lots of credit to him for taking on the toughest guys, though. So it seems like not all, but a lot of guys that fought Bud, just ain't the same afterwards, so let's see what happens with Errol. I wish him all the best
That is a very enlightening observation. I think the way Crawford beats them "takes their soul away" and suddenly makes them mentally very fragile. Undefeated fighters get dominated and embarrassed to the point where their confidence is shot to pieces.

Foreman got KOd by Ali and it messed him up. He later retired but came back & won title at 46. If Spence is healthy he can fight again, but who knows. It's a tough game.

Weren't no Kell Brook in no prime when he fought Errol Spence lol.

He'd had half his leg hacked almost off with a machete, recovered from that & then got his orbital smashed by GGG. Errol did the other one.

Yea, less than a year after fighting at 160, getting his face smashed and surgery to repair it, Spence fought him at 147. There's just no way to think that was the best or even a pretty good version of Brook. Anyone trying to say it was must really be wanting to believe.

I lost respect for Spence when he tried to freeze Crawford out before they fought....AND then again this whole time after they fought. Coward and spiteful stuff.

I have tremendous respect for him when he beat Brooks and Porter. Shame what money and ego does to a person.
