  • IBF stripped Canelo Alvarez of his 168 title

It’s probably the best strip i’ve seen the IBF do in years. Sulaiman should grow some balls and strip Canelo of the WBC title.

Once they did it to Usyk, they looked extremely weak not doing same here with Canelo.

Canelo being stripped of titles illustrates that the ABC bodies have some dignity, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm not excited for Canelo/Berlanga.....or that I'm all of a sudden excited to watch Scull vs. Shishkin because it's for the IBF title. Canelo is being held responsible for solving fan apathy, but no one fighter can solve that.

Yeah I agree, it doesn’t matter which title is on the line or not, Canelo vs Berlanga is a sh/t fight. If I buy any PPV that night, it’ll be UFC. But probably won’t buy either.

I said for Tank-Martin, I wouldn’t buy the PPV and did it anyway. But Martin > Berlanga.

You can’t really make a case for Berlanga. I saw Canelo said Benavidez has only beaten 1 champion, Anthony Dirrell. That’s crazy, Berlanga has beaten none.

Does Caleb Plant not count as a champion any more? Demetrius Andrade? Gvodzyk, Lemeuix? Benavidez has got to be in his mind with that level of cope.

The silver lining is that Berlanga will no longer have to protect his 0 after Canelo kicks his ass.
