I don't know much about either but it seemed that Rivera is a little more accomplished amateur. I think Goodson had a decent amateur career but he's 29 and his career hasn't been the most active recently.

Thus far, you can see his defense is a little leaky and he's getting capped by that counter when he throws lazy punches.

Goodson just looks a lot smaller and slower (or he doesn't have better timing). He leaves that chin exposed and every time he gets hit clean, it looks like he got hit by a stun gun.

Goodson may have won that last round but he will most likely need a big round or two to have a chance. Rivera definitely slowing down a bit.
