Comments Thread For: 'Shakur Stevenson-Gervonta Davis can't get any riper'
Rare is the moment in boxing when two supremely talented fighters are in their 20s, unbeaten, three-division champions, and free to fight each other

Of course, no need to wait. But let me guess, they'll be some Tank fanatics talking about Stevensons fans or his lack of fans. Even though Tank just fought a far lesser known fighter in Frank Martin.
Anyway, we all know Tank won't take the fight, for how good he and his fanatics think he his, it doesn't hide his below average resume.
Shakur Stevenson better not price himself out. His last two fights stunk out the joint and even his hometown crowd was booing him and walked out early in Newark.

Shakur Stevenson even priced himself out against Devin Haney once he held all the belts at 135 before moving up to 140.
I’m glad everyone sees that the real risk to this fight being made is the high probability that Shakur will price himself out of the fight. Whenever that “if the money is right” talk comes out we are literally being told “I might duck this fight because it’s soo much of a risk unless I get paid millions that will equate to a financial loss to someone.” Hopefully the pbc people negotiate in percentages rather than flat fees.

The way Shakur has been acting after his last fight is crazy! Threatening celebrities, having J-Prince sending out threats, I'm not sure if he understands what he's doing? The last thing he should be doing is to try to "strong arm" Tank, in the ring, nor outside the ring! He has to realize Tank has options, with Pitbull and Zepeda! Mexican fans don't walk out in the 11th round!

This is just an example how Shakur has been acting lately...
Tank has done more, has been a champion for years, and deserves more $. If Shakur wants to be seen as the best, he should accept a lower percentage. How much less is up to the people involved. Maybe 60 Tank 40 Shakur?
