It seems Morrell-Benavidez will never happens. If Benavidez will really face the winner of Beterbiev-Bivol then he won't have a chance and Morell won't be motivated to fight him ...

Talk about leverage.
I don't think any of those scenarios are happening.

Sorry, guys. I know you all tried

But the ones throwing the punches call the shots

And some, more so than others

Alvarez exposed as the biggest ***** in the sport. One of the most blatant ducks in boxing history and his zealots still support him. You have to laugh.

Ginger has no pride, no honour and no legacy. "I don't fight with fellow Mexicans, guys, unless they aren't Benavidez".

Benavidez should use this whole experience as a lesson to not burn your bridges and be more respectful to someone clearly in position to call the shots.

No more *******, no more missing weight, no badmouthing people who you need more than they need you.

Really think Benavidez thought if he made a lot of noise, then Canelo would cave like he did with Golovkin. Difference is, Golovkin had a bigger following and more money on the table than Benavidez. Plus, this was before Canelo solidified himself as a HOF and possibly ATG.

Went about it all the wrong way. Plus, that's your countryman. Should've just chilled the f*** out a little

So Canelo gets a pass for blatantly ducking a guy who likely beats him up, because David didn't have "humility". So you are saying if David had kissed Canelo's ass like these other guys, Canelo would have fought him? Lol. No, he wouldn't have. Benavidez was by far the biggest money fight for Canelo, the fight all the fans want to see, and it is a legacy fight.

If this is really how Canelo fans think, boxing is truly dead. If all that matters is paydays, the sport is over. I can't fathom that anyone who loves the sport thinks this way. Or do you love Canelo and his arrogant cherry picking? I guess it isn't about beating the best, a mandatory for God's sake....I guess you keep an eye on Canelo's net worth and get excited about it?

Boxing's a business. You play the game.

Where David messed up was thinking the WBC would back him after Canelo blatantly showed them whose running the show. And now, here he is. Forced to move up for lack of better options.

For all the hooting and hollering Khan did, he never struck the Mayweather lottery, yet Maidana, who I don't even think speaks English, did twice, and never stepped foot in a ring again.
