well he really helped out the WBC by giving up his mandatory status. now they dont have to come up with any BS excuses.

He should have atleast forced them to make excuses so the public can see their corruptness.

Has David Benavdiez ever confronted Canelo Alvarez directly within physical reality? No 'Even when there had been many great opportunities for him to apply those sort of tactics while pursuing the fight'.

The stage was set during the Munguia vs Alvarez fight week. For David Benavidez to ether show up at a press conference and confront Alvarez or challenge him in front of the World's sporting media after the fight. Neither of those situations occurred, because contrary to certain narratives? I honestly don't believe David Benavidez wants to fight Canelo Alvarez, as if his entire boxing career and fighting reputation depended upon it.

People can have their views on this saga within Canelo Alvarez's career, but? Alvarez has never appeared to me 'To be a fighter who would directly turn down a challenged from one of his nearest competitors if he was confronted within actual physical reality. The old school way'.

Because those sort of tactics and actions, directly put pressure on the instincts of any competitive fighter 'And any man'.

I stated similar views after the Jack Catterall vs Josh Taylor I fight 'Catteral and his team in the aftermath of the first fight, in mi opinion did not pursue the rematch with any real intensity. Catteral and his team done a lot of complaining, to the media. But for a long time, I personally saw not direct challenge from Jack Catteral towards Josh Taylor'.

People in this modern era of boxing and society, need to understand 'That a direct challenge is not speaking through the media, or making posts on social media'.

If you are not the Champion, if you are the challenging fighter 'Then you better believe, that the onus is on you to make the challenge'.

Looking back throughout boxing history, there are many scenes were fighters behaving this way 'Applying those old school tactics, in pursing a fight'.

Note: It seems to me that, fighters such as Bernard Hopkins and David Haye were the last real top level fighters who used those tactics 'At certain stages of their career, and with great effects. Sometimes those level and type of actions is what it takes to make a fight, and apply pressure to your competitors'.

To conclude: David Benavidez in my opinion, does not want to fight Canelo Alvarez anywhere near to the level that certain people are trying to claim. There have been many opportunities were he could of made this fight, and match up 'Increase in demand to such high levels, Canelo Alvarez as a Champion would have to take the fight'.

In regard to the actual match up, I have always been of the opinion 'That stylistically David Benavidez is straight up Canelo Alvarez's street. Benavidez has all the attributes to make it a competitive fight, but not the specific attributes and skills to a high level? To win vs Canelo Alvarez when he is in solid form'.

David Benavides is a solid fighter, but? Fighters like Benavidez have existed in many boxing era's in modern times 'Especially during the modern boxing era's, under the day before weigh in rules. Benavidez is a aggressive fighter, who has relied heavily on gaining some sort of advantage by weight draining himself so he can fight far below a more natural fighting weight. Eventually Benavidez would of needed to move up to 175 pounds, because his training lifestyle over a long duration of time has negative effects on a fighters well being and conditioning'.

I have not seen any elite level attributes or skills within David Benavidez as a fighter, but for sure he is a World level fighter. And ultimately that is the difference between David Benavidez and Canelo Alvarez 'Alvarez in some area's of his game when in solid form is a elite level fighter. Alvarez overall as a fighter is not on the level of Floyd Mayweather Junior or Manny Pacquiao, but definitely throughout his career he has proven that certain aspects of his game are elite level'.

And I believe if David Benavidez and Canelo Alvarez was to ever fight 'It is those elite level skills and attributes which would show up, and win the fight for Alvarez' etc.
