  • Comments Thread For: On Jake Paul-Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.: 'We're better than this'

He's going to milk his last name until the very last drop. I forgot he got a payday against Canelo.
Now he's going to get another pay day against Jake Poo.

Jake Paul is not a boxing plant (that would be Caleb), he's a guy who had a dedicated following of tens of millions of tweens, teens & immature twenty-somethings before he even thought about lacing up.

The audience that Logan & Jake Paul (as well as their buddy KSI) built online before they decided to box was so, so, so very huge. THAT'S the reason for the success, they've simply been selling to their audience, an audience which will buy literally anything they do or endorse.

As for Jr... I hate to hate on a guy trying his best but... I really dunno how to finish this sentence now.

if they will pay then Boxing will keep serving it up, maybe it is time to stop posting anything about the schiiit shows that keep showing up ? maybe that would help to not quote some guys about what they say just ignore the whole smelly mess............. that will never happen too much money being spread around.

Don't sweat it , he's not a guy trying his best , never has been. It's not hate if it's true.

The WBA is getting so much backlash over this blatantly disgraceful attempt to defraud the boxing public.
That I bet they won't dare go through with it, I think it's equally safe to say that no other boxing organization will attempt it either.
I mean this has really blown up in Gilberto Mendoza's face, and they've done nothing other than to suggest it so far, at least that's what it sounds like.

It looks like pnut901 is really pissed off, he's posted once, and liked 4 comment's in a 3 hour span, look for it to rain pnut901 all day!
I can't say that I blame him either, because this has really gotten disgusting, Mendoza needs to keep his ******ity to himself, or get out of boxing altogether.
Stop making a mockery of our beloved sport, for the want of a damn dollar you corrupt greedy pendejo!!!

when he blammed out Andy Lee I thought OK fair enough well done thats a good fighter beaten right there. I honestly thought the 12th round against Martinez would have kept him invigorated and kept his toe in the sport but he was just never interested in the work. I've said it before but the behind the ropes special where he was "in camp" eating fruit loops and watching cartoons is probably where it all started going south.

You give Mendoza WAYYYY too much credit. He would blow a football team if he thought there was a sanctioning fee to be collected.......
