"We owe it to our fans to do that....I don't mind and I don't fault Eddie for going to Saudi Arabia with the Joshua v Ruiz fight," Arum said. "[He] made a good buck, that was okay, but you can't keep doing it or you're going to kill the sport. And it's not political, we're putting politics aside. We're just talking as a promoter who wants to appeal to the most boxing fans."

Don't ever change Bob, over the years we have come to appreciate you being an unapologetic slime ball who is never afraid to change your position if it earns you an extra buck.

Has Bob really changed his position though!? he's going to be promoting fights in the USA for the oiler, he may occasionally go to Saudi but this deal is primarily with the intent to promote US cards.

And Eddie said the same type of things, Warren as well in relation to the UK.

It's part and parcel of promoters, they're all shysters who'll sell their own mothers for a buck.

Bob's position is consistent in the fact it always changes to suit him. He's no different than the rest; I don't have any extra vitriol towards him or Top Rank (they all equally disgust me)..I just recall Arum the one speaking on the topic.

If you're a U.S citizen or a U.S. company , Uncle Sam is still going to get his after the first 86k.

It isn't making sense to me. If both fighters have a promoter , what's this "extra" promoter for ? Someone please enlighten me.
Like a business partner who is silent partner ; he’s probably got a significant percentage
Meaning I’ll put up the money and take the risk of losing it but if successful , I’m pretty sure his cut is a nice chunk
In all reality this means if the show is successful everyone makes on it

I merely quoted Ol' Bob. His position back in 2020 was that big fights in the middle east were bad for the fans and he owed it is to keep them in the US and UK. You call his antics "evolution", I call them hypocrisy. Much like his comments on women's boxing...he's flip flipped his position on that depending on whether it was beneficial for him.

My post doesn't indicate my position on fights in the middle east. If you want to know, you can ask me or you can search my posts on the matter. I'm merely saying ol' Bob is a hypocrite and a slime ball. That seems to have bothered you and caused you to respond to my post. Are you on commission for Top Rank?
