Comments Thread For: Nonito Donaire welcomes possible showdown with Roman Gonzalez

Oh please after 50 fights and taking too many punches to the head including getting KTFO, get a test to see if you’ve lost your mind. You’ve been hustling and trying to make money being a trainer where in your training debut, your fighter got KTFO in 2 rounds. Your days as a boxer are over. You must be looking to being fed from a straw. Shame on you if you blew your money like Manny PAC and are now in on the hustling circuit which is obvious.

No thank you. I am a massive Donaire and Roman Gonzalez fan but them fighting past their prime is not appealing to me in the slightest.

great fight. intriguing to see how their styles match up.

you still gotta consider gonzales as a top guy, as good as estrada.

Intriguing but I'd rather see Chocolatito face Bam.

Still a great fight for me, would love to see Chocolatito get a belt first and then make this a first defense

If there is actually a good time to fight an old legend, it is facing another old legend without a belt involved. The current crop of champions at bantam are too young and in prime for them to have a chance anyway, but an Elder Chocolatito vs Elder Donaire 118 non-title fight will still have enough sales attraction to those who are interested in those divisions.
