It's definitely a complex web. When we complain about the sanctioning bodies, we tend to forget how all of these ent!ties (fighters, promoters, managers, ABC bodies, athletic commissions, etc.) are connected. It isn't as simple as "get rid of the sanctioning bodies!" As a former fighter, DLH understands this web very well. He probably thought that his prior success as a prizefighter would afford his stable with some privileges.

I’m thinking Shakur is pricing himself out
He refused the 3 million a fight from Top Rank
How much do you think he should get for this fight knowing his last fight , in his hometown , drew only 8000 fans and we all saw them walking out by the 7th round

de la ho shoulda always been a heel through his whole career. It's hilarious really. I hate he says he would work with anyone and all big fights should be made, and then not make a big fight like zepeda and Shakur though

Again , imo Shakur is pricing himself out
Remember he refused 3 million a fight ( we don’t even know the details of incentives )
Who knows what he’s asking for

It's been ordered though right? The mandatory?

So it's just a purse bid situation.

Unless I'm getting the wrong end of what he's saying here.

Yes it has but discussions were started right before it was ordered
I’m about 80% sure of that cause I recall saying to myself well well well

Yeah I know I know but that's messy isn't it, purse bids are easy, whoever pays the most money gets the fight.

That's when I said Oscar will block it, likely by pulling Zepeda out, and from what I can gather, seems that's what's going to happen from his comments.

                    But we'll see.
