I don’t agree with the premise that Paul’s ‘rise’ is connected to the poor matchmaking etc that the rest of the sport is suffering with

he has a totally different audience stemming from his social media career.

If boxing continues stepping up its game, and Paul’s relevancy dwindles, I would say it’s coincidental. Probably more a case that Jake Paul boxing is no longer a novelty to his audience and they’re tired of it, especially as it’s become stale
