Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn: 154 pounds a step too far for Terence Crawford

Crawford, 40-0 (31 KOs), is widely considered to be the pound-for-pound best fighter in the sport today. He won his first title down at lightweight against Ricky Burns back in 2014 and since then has gone on to conquer the junior welterweight and welterweight divisions - becoming undisputed in both. Now Crawford, 36, is aiming to win a belt in a fourth division when he takes on Madrimov.

Here goes the manipulative snake trying to convince us that he's too small for 154, so that when he wins Coke head Hearn can say, "That was simply incredible mates!! I think thos bloke cam beat Nelo! I say let's do it!"
then they'll pour millions of dollars in promotions..yall know how it goes

Jokey Joke Boy is nothing more than a troll throwing chit at the wall and see what sticks
Hopefully he goes away like Madrimov after his loss

I’d expect nothing less from Hearn. He’ll praise the British mediocrity he promotes, significantly overrates guys like AJ, Benn, Callum smith, etc. And guarantee me if Crawford was from England, his entire view would be different. The reality is, England has never produced a boxer as good as Crawford

Definitely he'll be fighting larger fighters than himself at 154 but maybe he's just that good.

It is true that you sometimes can go a division too high, might not be a problem for crawford but it's what makes this interesting to me at least, he's not fighting a mug either.

I'm expecting a good fight either way.
