Lol I keep reading this bs that golovkin was 'out his prime' but when you look at his resume you wont see any elite level win during his supposed prime years ,folks easily tend to forget he was still undefeated once he got in the ring with Canelo.

Also its astonishing the amount of haters(usual suspects) rushing to any canelo related article no matter how irrelevant the article might be lol, those are the same one calling themselves 'real boxing fans' ,but you hardly see them talk actual boxing unless its another canelo related article lol( yes, you know who you're) but hey, when you're are on top you ALWAYS gonna get the

Hey genius, you "musta forgot" that Benavidez has failed to exercise his mandatory with the WBC to fight Canelo. The WBC has given him a deadline and Benavidez has twice given him an extension. I believe the latest deadline is within this week.

This is a recently statement from the WBC president regarding mandatory, “Benavidez defeated Plant in March of this year, so his date for the mandatory position is March 2024.” As to whether or not I am a boxing casual, I have been following boxing since 1958. I saw then Cassius Clay become the national light heavyweight champion in Chicago in 1959. I don't hold myself as an expert, but I think it is fair to say I am not a "casual" fan of boxing.

Sergio and Cotto were both "old" as well and out of their primes.
