If he had a fraction the finishing instinct that Boots has, he'd be much more popular. But he's got all these skills and won't even try to get guys he's levels above out of there.
Boots is far more like Tank. He's got the power and the skills, but the resume is severely lacking, and his team has turned down or avoided every top 10 fight they've been offered except for Roiman Villa and now Avanesyan/Crowley, which they couldn't avoid without losing the email belt. We will see how he behaves with a new promoter. If he really thinks he wants the smoke, he'll be there ringside when Bud fights Madrimov. He's a DAZN fighter now too, and the money man expressed interest. If he's not there and doesn't call out the winner, that will say everything.
I'm hoping to get on the Boots train. But he needs to do more than run his mouth and fight unprepared or lower level opponents.
