You gotta be appreciative when a fighter comes in there and do what he's suppose to do and not just play tag for 12 rounds against an overmatched opponent. That said, the day Boots meets a good fighter who can match his physicality and can punch, I think he may be in a lot of trouble. Luckily for him, no such fighter exists in 147 right now. A guy like Vergil Ortiz would have been serious problem for him. Boots still gets hit easy and he makes a lot of mistake that these limited fighters can't capitalize on. If he plans on hitting 154 soon, he 'll need to tighten things up 'cos those boys up there are strong.

I said this a few days ago on this site, check it, the man's defense is suspect, his athleticism is suspect in terms of his feet, and his lateral movement. He is looking like more and more like AB with a different hat by the day, more focused, not as much of an idiot as AB, but in the ring, yes, the similarities are there.

He’s much more than Broner I’ll give him that but besides Bud , I’d say all fights with others would be 50/50
