I guess coming in 2 pounds over the contracted weight, isn't being a weight bully. LOL.

He always looked like a tall, big middleweight. He also has leaky a defence and can get reckless. Good luck trying to make it at 168 when benavidez is throwing a million punches.

Wasn't JMM brought up two weight classes? From 135 up to 147. (Well 146 in this case).

Yep. He was a lightweight champ the fight before. The contracted weight was meant to account for that. Floyd didn't care and paid the fine.

Janibek career will be storied at 168

extra interesting if David Morrell can still make 168

Alvarez Morrell Benavidez Janibek. Good lineup

I never thought Janibek looked that big at 160 TBH, so it was a surprise to see this.

Mind you, I didnt see his last fight so maybe he was but I figured he just outgrew the weight. He fought at MW in the ams, and has only had 15 pro fights. A lot more likely he outgrew rather than has been weight bullying his entire life.

EDIT - I did see his last fight. Thought he'd had one since then.

I don't recall him ever looking noticeably bigger than any of his opponents. It's hard.to tell if he was boiling down to get to 160 but if he was, it was less noticeable than others I've seen.

no more camping out at middleweight to face nobodies and take no risks ggg style
Something casuals say for 100 Alex? Were playing Jeopardy right?
Every fighter SHOULD be fighting at the LOWEST weight as possible. Their ALWAYS comes a time when they have to move up but usually its because their getting fat after the age of 25. Unfortunately CASUALS don't understand this.
