Haney offered Shakur 25% of the purse to fight him and Shakur rightfully rejected it.
Do you think Shakur was ducking Haney? Crawford’s biggest fight and biggest payday was the Spence fight so clearly he is not a Floyd or an Oscar. So we don’t know what kind of offer money wise was offered to Boots.

Shakur should have taken the short money. It would have been an investment in his career. He passed on undisputed. Everybody would have had to come to him. It's basic business. He must not have liked his chances

But that got a response so lol. Idk. It’s just that sometimes I’ll write a well thought out email, submit it, wait the few days, and feel disappointment when it doesn’t make the bag.
Rico, it’ll happen. Don’t give up. Just be thoughtful and relevant

Agree with everything except the final sentence.

Imho Stevenson should definitely have made the investment in his career & 100% made a bad decision but there was no lack of confidence involved.

It’s all a balancing act. Someone on his team might’ve told him something along the lines of “know your worth.”

              20% take is really low.

You can’t always be the “A side” and have to accept stuff that comes your way at a certain point.

Idk. There’s always a foe out there somewhere to box. Can’t box everyone who’s available every single time.

Sometimes it gets hard to follow. Cuz you hear whispers about, “Oh he name dropped this guy that guy.”

Or you hear, “yeah we almost signed.”

And sometimes these talks go on forever until it’s no longer feasible.

Idk something he might regret moving forward. Let’s see how his career plays out.

                Ryan Garcia's a r e t a r d and Pac's comeback at 45 is a joke.

Camacho and Hagler are on the same level.

Chavez beats Azumah but Camacho vs Azumah is a good fight.

And to use Floyd's own words about discrediting Pacquiao's win over Cotto because he "caught him at a catch weight, well Floyd too gets no credit either because he "caught Canelo at a catch weight."

Let's not be hypocrites now Mayweather fanboys.

Edit: Shakur sucks, not even worth watching him even if it was for free.

After he's done with Canelo, I'd like to see Bud vs Chris Barnett since ya know, they're almost the same height.

Boxing has definitely become very circus like lately.

I started following boxing at the end of ‘08 when Pac beat De La Hoya. I can’t ever remember it looking the way it does now.

I’m not entirely sure what Bread is seeing in Boots that most of us aren’t. He’s good, explosive, young, but you’d think he clobbered Godzilla and rescued fifteen orphans from a burning building the way Bread consistently primes his name. Every. Single. Week.

                    He’s not THAT good.

I think breadman is a little biased. He's very quick to praise some fighters that haven't face nobodies, Ennis is an example, while others like Morrell he needs to see more and praising mungia who took a beating from canelo. If only these today boxers would grow a pair and fight real opposition.
