Mastery the title says ; more like FatherTime calling from around the corner
Choco has a great career but I’m thinking he might just be on the brinks
37 years old and a lot of wear and tear on that body

That's why he said future first ballot HOFer. Which Donaire is.

How doesn't he qualify? Four division champion having beaten multiple champions, beaten two HOF in Omar Narvaez and Jorge Arce.

Don't want to see Chocolatito fight at Bantamweight however, he looked great a super flyweight but most realize he was a bloated light flyweight who was not at his best, standing at 5'3 and with 64 inch reach. He was the smaller man against Cuadras, Rungvisai and Estrada. He is the greater fighter, but I thought Cuadras edged it and Rungvisai stopped him in the rematch. Estrada won the third bout convincingly though the 2nd bout is debatable. Barrera who he just stopped, was towering over him and he is no bantamweight.

Now as a declining and even smaller fighter at 118, he be fighting younger and bigger fighters. Just hope Honda doesn't plan to pit him against Nakatani.

At first it sounded like he was saying that they would never fight , but then he swerved and said that for the right money they'd do it. As much as I love Chocolatito as a fighter , at this point in his career , I think that Bam is just too much for him. I would still love to see the fight and the passing of the torch to Bam. Hopefully they can get it done soon .

The iron is hot right now though as far these lower weights go. Reminds me of the days Pacquiao was fighting Barrera Marquez and Morales back to back. Choco's one of my favorite fighters too and he deserves this big payday to ride off in the sunset in. Win win all around.

Yeah a 7 time, 4 weight World Champion and the record breaking oldest Bantamweight World Champion in history definitely doesn’t belong in the HOF.

Shut your weak ass up you silly c***.

I have the same reservations as you, that's why I hope they target Takuma. He's not gonna have a big size advantage and isn't a very hard hitter, so while Choco could lose, he shouldn't really get hurt. If he can get that belt in a 5th weight class, it really puts him into ATG status and he can just worry about legacy fights until he decides to call it quits.

Honestly I already think Roman Gonzalez is a ATG. Has a run similiar to let's say Humberto Gonzalez or Michael Carbajal at light flyweight then achieved even more above his weight class against Viloria, and Cuadras. Along with wins over Yafai, Sosa, Israil Gonzalez, Martinez, and etc.

I would definitely agree, though I feel there is still a bit of a bias from some against smaller fighters, a belt in a 5th weight class cements all doubts imo
