Janibek hasn't fought for about 9 months, which means he had a lot of time to balloon. It's possible he didn't have enough time to safely take off the weight, or maybe the weight wasn't coming off without taking some extreme measures.

Horrible for him because people already don't see much of a reason to fight him, if he is having trouble making weight, then he would have to go to 168, and he just can't hang with the bigger stronger dogs at that weight. Rock meet hard place.
