So does Choco try to shake off more rust and acclimate more to 118, or strike while the iron is hot and go straight into a title fight? I think I wouldn't mess around and go straight for a belt. Not sure how much another fight at home against a guy like Liborio Solis or Froilan Saludar is gonna help him, gotta hurry before he fades too much.
Looking at the champs, they need to target Takuma. That's a huge fight in Japan and the only one that I'd feel good about for Choco at this stage. It would be a difficult fight for sure, but the most winnable for him imo. I guess maybe you could build that a bit by having Choco fight in Japan against a guy like Kurihara or Ishida on the same card, but I'd try to get the Takuma fight ASAP if I were his team. A belt in a 5th weight class has to be the only goal at this point, if he can get the belt, then he can take as many legacy fights as he wants until he loses it (ie. Rungvisai 3, Estrada 4, Donaire etc)
