Comments Thread For: Teddy Atlas: London could be 'the money move' for Canelo Alvarez against Chris Eubank Jr.

Mexican Independence Day weekend has been a staple on Saul "Canelo" Alvarez's annual fight schedule, but it may not be in the cards for a second straight year. Another option being floated: a London date with England's Chris Eubank Jr.

Its amazing how a mismatch would draw more than decent numbers in the UK ,easy cash grab for the ginger, nothing else ,Junior is no match for him. The same goes with Berlanga.

Casuals like me wouldn't mind a classic Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry. It makes for good tv.

I would rather see Berlanga vs Canelo. Than Canelo vs KFC man.

Is Chris Eubank Jr. popular in the UK? For what? I see that he's beaten a few Liams. He has the carcasses of DeGale and Abraham on his ledger. Canelo might as well just call these fights "exhibitions."

Canelo should own a house in London. He has been feasting on Eddy's pigeons forever. Liams and Smiths and Callums, he owes them a show.

Cant put the word “classic” in the same sentence as the huge mismatch that would be Canelo v Berlanga. Bring Tito Trinidad out of retirement..He would have a much better shot against Canelo than the hype-job Berlanga! Think “Juanma”.

Canelo should have fought in the UK before he beat them all. What's left won't draw flies. Not for the price. Eubank is too small, has no chance and not unlikable enough for us to enjoy his humiliation. Without a chance for the home fighter, the price is too high and Canelo gets more than his regular millions for traveling.
