I would rather see Berlanga vs Canelo. Than Canelo vs KFC man.
They could try to sell the Mx vs Pr rivalry sure but c'mon, we all know Berlanga wouldn't last long in there with canelo, thats a huge step up in competition for edgar. Even still the ginger on a downhill off prime.

Understandable, but with Canelo on the decline and Berlanga being younger and bigger. It might be competitive.

Yeah the marketing will be heavy on the rivalry for sure. But I think it might be more competitive than people think.

Berlanga is younger and bigger. If John Ryder was putting up a fight being similar size to CA. I think Berlanga will make it fun.

Please please please don't mention the word Benavidez in front of my lord and my God Canelo.

The truth is that the UFC model is beating boxing from pillar to post period. That’s why ESPN will not renew TR deal. UFC is far more popular than boxing for ESPN.

The Canelo golden goose is today laying more bronze and fewer golden eggs. Should Canelo take his act to the UK, PPV cost there is between $32 and $$38 US dollars after conversion. So the Canelo $99 PPV is now a relic. Worse, as I said, Canelo is not the PPV golden goose of before. His PPV numbers have been in steady decline given his carefully selected choice of opponents. He has avoided fighting Benevidez and Morrell at all cost opting instead for safer opponents like, Charlo, Billy Joe Saunders, John Ryder, Caleb Plant, Danny Jacob, and Rocky Fielding to name a few. He also lost to Bivol at Lt. Heavy and quickly went back to his lane at 168.

DAZN refused to renew his $30M per fight contract with Matchroom because it was a financial disaster.

So while I like Paulie, Teddy can be a sight to behold when he’s not on his meds and a bad decision is rendered by corrupt judges. Imagine Teddy after the O. Foster v Conceicao decision? I believe their reporting and opinions regarding Canelo today are questionable. Canelo’s best days are behind him. Eubank Jr, is just another carefully selected opponent if that fight should happens.

Americans will find out that Brits don’t EVER root against their own against a foreigner. These little divisions that are so popular in the usa with certain groups….that’s not something that would happen in Britain. Even if Eubank hasn’t been overly popular m, if he were to take on Canelo in Blighty, he will have the support of British fans and casuals alike. America is an odd country wherein people root against the Americans when they are facing foreigners. A truly odd and disturbing occurrence….

It's a big money fight that no true boxing fan really wants to see.

                  Jr will get knocked out!

They root for who they like, not just because they are one nationality.

In America, everybody has fans. Its not so much rooting against Americans, but they got little Tokyo, little Italy, Philippine town. In America, a fight can be between two non Americans and still draw a crowd. I can see where somebody from a little place can't understand that. The Japanese root for the Japanese guy when he comes to America. In the UK, little Tokyo doesn't exist.
