How will Tank deal with a fighter that's a better boxer than him with a longer reach and distance control?

Questions for both guys IMHO but I will say it's gotten a bit out of hand with talking about the styles.

The conversation has just turned in to "TANK TANK TANK, POWER, POWER, POWER!" And it's like if you like Tank to win that's fine but at least take in account the styles. Seeing people compare Kur to Tank's last few opponents is nuts but I can't wait for it to happen. A lot of conversations will be revisited.
Shakur has shown how he responds to being hit, people just don’t pay attention. Whenever he gets hit clean whether to the body or head, he either runs or immediately clinches. De Los Santos caught him with a clean jab/hook in round 1 and that is the reason he fought the way he fought. The African guy caught him and he completely ran around the ring. I’m telling you, This is an easier fight for Tank than Frank Martin because he can completely disrespect his power. Whenever Tank hits Shakur he will feel the power and be on the back foot the whole night until he gets KO’d.

TR is offering him 5 fights for $3 million guarantee each. (I doubt broadcasters are making a killing on PPV these days, so talk of upsides are basically immaterial.)
So what's your guess? Why talk about he's being lowballed when you can't even make any estimate of what PBC is willing to offer him.
      I know what you're saying.
PBC fans say what TR is giving is a lowball offer. Well, I'd like to know what PBC is offering, if there is one at all.

That might be the game changer right there
My thinking is Tank catches him towards the end of the fight when Shakur has tired some
Guess we’ll find out once they fight if they fight
Stevenson is too light in the ass to stand up to Tank's power. He'll curl up like a shrimp in boiling water from the first big shot Tank lands.

There are maybe three fighters he can earn enough to make it worth turning down TR offer; Tank, Loma and Teo. Outside of those three, Shakur will need at least five or more fights to earn $15M+.
Split percentages don't make much sense to me, especially in this day and age of abysmal PPV numbers. And in that sense splits should only apply to PPV upsides nothing else.
Boxers should know what their market value is and ask for money they deserve INDEPENDENT OF what the opponent would make in the fight. But that's just me.

$3-5 million, plus a percentage of PPV buys, say 20%. I mean, given his recent performances, most will tune in to see Tank KO him.

Tank can literally say to himself " Im losing rounds so I am going to go punch for punch with Shakur" and what could Shakur do at that point?

Thats the way I see it, maybe Shakur would suprise me...
Mario Barrios was doing very well (winning) against Tank before the (quick) stoppage.

The money has to come from somewhere. Sponsors won't pay for commercial time for unknown fighters. Networks aren't going to invest in fighters who can't draw flies. I do agree that they should offer fighters what they are worth, and in Shakur's instance he still only deserves a third of what Tank would make, at best. This reminds me of Wilder insisting on 50% of the purse when talks with Joshua went downhill. Joshua earned 10 - 20X as much per fight and had over a dozen endorsement deals. His earning power and popularity were at least 10x that of Wilder, yet Wilder thought he was worth half. Insane.

This statement applies to so many lol. I agree that this fight potentially is easier than the Martin fight.

Great fighters like Ray Leonard, Camacho and Pernell Whitaker used defensive tactics as offense. Not the same as just being evasive. Levels to the game. Both Haney and Shakur have to use their developing man strength to sit down on some of their shots.
