Let me give you the scoop. Assuming Tank fights Shakur on PPV, and the price to view at best is $49.95

I don’t think such PPV would not generate more than 150,000 buys

The PPV gross then is 12,000,000
cable networks and the consolidator take 50%

This leaves a net to the Promoter of 6,000,000

Tank is the A side and makes 4,000,000
shakur is the B side and makes 2,000,000

Promoter would have to settle for the live gate and International sales.

Casino gives the Promoter a 4 wall deal, rooms, food, and the gate. Say promoter can sell 15,000 seats at an average cost of $200 per ticket. That’s $3,000,000.

International sales would be around $150,000.00

Promoter has to put together a Co- main and undercard. Using a recent PBC event, the Co-main with Erislandy Lara cost 1,000,000.

After the rest of the undercard, Promoter is left with about 1,500,000.

I just gave you the best case scenario fir Tank vs Shakur.

If TR offered Shakur a 5 fight deal for 15M, he and his people are fools not to have taken the deal because in any other fight, Shakur would be lucky to get paid 1M. and the Promoter would be operating in the red.

It would've been nice if Teo had fought Shakur, instead of Steve Claggett!

Teofimo Lopez rejects Shakur Stevenson’s challenge!
Shakur aims to extend his reach beyond lightweight division

Teofimo Lopez dismissed Shakur Stevenson’s challenge at 140, telling him to stay in the 135-pound division. Shakur (21-0, 10 KOs) aims to extend his reach beyond lightweight, where he has been avoided by top fighters, by calling out competitors at 140, including Teofimo, the WBO light welterweight champion. Teofimo (20-1, 13 KOs) insists Shakur should remain at 135 and adopt a more aggressive style, as his hit-and-not-get-hit approach isn’t effective in securing desired fights. He criticized Shakur’s style for not attracting big matches. However, it’s contradictory for Teofimo to dismiss a fight with Shakur based on weight class when, in the same interview, he called out Terence Crawford, who fights at 154, suggesting they could meet at 147.

I'm starting to believe that Teofimo is / was a one hit wonder. He had a good streak going , squeaked past an injured Lomachenko,, and all of a sudden he's some great fighter.....Since then his true level has shown , even the Taylor fight was against a guy half starved and past his best. Besides that fight , he's either needed help with creative judging , or looked like crap. My opinion is that Lopez is overrated and will never be the great fighter that he was wrongly pegged as following the Lomachenko fight.

Tank is going to sell no matter who he's fighting.

Tank sells more than 150k ppvs no matter who he fights.

Tank vs Shakur does 500k ppv minimum. And ppvs cost $80. Not $50. So even if it did 150k buys. Your math would still be wrong
