Yeah, that is my opinion as well. Weak sauce to just complain about something, scream about all the reasons it is bad, offer nothing in return as to how to fix it. I work with way to many people like that. Will likely skip the other 5 parts of this.

I've said for a while now the best way to do it is a combination of you guys idea.

Assign a region of the world to one of the sanctioning bodies

For example the WBC could be South America & The Caribbean, The WBO could be Europe, The WBA could be North America, The IBF could be Asia/Africa/Oceania

Each can have their own champion who defends his championship in his region 2 or 3 times a year, then every 2 years takes part in a World Championship tournament every other year where the 4 champions face off in a tournament to crown a world champion.

The best thing about it is it gives more fighters opportunities, if you lower the number of belts careers will stall and lots of guys will never get a title shot.

Boxing only answer's to Boxing as long as that is the case it will stay on the fringe of sport and deteriorate further as time passes by. the system of boxing is that it has no system, it has no reason to exists right now except for to generate money for promo's boys and platforms those are the only en****** the Boxing replies or answer's to anymore. The rules are there to be twisted and re-wrote how ever the Promoters decide to change them with the blessings of the sanc bodies. Why even put up ideas and solutions to boxings problems when no one in boxing will listen anyhow. Now it is the Saudi's a few years ago it was the boys from the U. K. Eddie and the gang....... PBC would make it happen ....right. Unitl the sport of boxing is available to the general public without crazy prices by way of PPV and without real competition along skill levels and true challenges inside the ropes not based on who you know and pay, it will never change.

I don't think any sanctioning body would agree to sticking with a specific region. I also don't think it's necessary. The 2 to 3 times defending and tournament every 2 years is good, though.
