The first thing you see in the video, on the left side of the screen, is Shakur hitting the same girl. On her back, for good measure. Pure trash - he and his buddy.

The masses like offense and KOes, he has to win a lot for his style to be appreciated. He can't generate enough power in his punches because of his defense first mentality. Only sustain pressure will get him to go to another gear.

He's not boring to me because I actually enjoy the sport of boxing as opposed to just brawling or human ****fights like MMA

Just look at who he put Davis in with tonight. That guy constantly coming forward and Shakur would look absolutely dynamic.

Instead he puts him in with Davis where it becomes a foul filled disgrace of a sh-tshow.

There is no guarantee that Shakur would have won the Loma fight. Personally I think Loma beats him. Shakur has shown an inability to find a higher gear, and to step up and get rid of subpar opposition. In many instances, like Haney, its possible the lack of engagement is to protect a soft beard. What would happen if Loma (dont even mention Tank) clipped him clean on the chin?

I think its more likely that Bob was protecting his investment in Shakur, not necessarily protecting Loma. And actually, I dont see how anyone can think Bob protects Loma........

People in this day and age aren't going to a boxing match to see pot shotting. We want a tear up, with risky styles
Floyd's brilliance was that he played the heel so well that half the buys were people wanting to see the opponent put Floyd on the floor. Too bad for them it never happened.

Shakurs problem is that people just dont care whether he wins or is on the floor......

On top of that, Mayweather came through big in a lot of his fights, offensively. While not getting hit, he showed both sides for a long time. He was a very balanced fighter, the perfect fighter. That’s where his old fans come from.

Of course when you fight bigger opponents and don’t kill yourself to make weight like everyone else, your power will hit different. But Shakur hasn’t built that fanbase up like Mayweather did. He was a very exciting fighter to watch. And regardless of weight, look at his Hatton, Mosley, Ortiz, Judah, and Cotto fights. He showed a lot of aggressive even at 147-154.
                  Exactly this.

Money Mayweather was a boring tiresome character

Pretty Boy Floyd was a BADDDDD MFer.........

I don’t even care that much about him being boring in and out the ring, it’s his attitude and mentality that I have a problem with. This dude will make a ****load of excuses for his lack of creativity in terms of offense, and his inability to cut the ring off instead of looking himself in the mirror and admitting he’s not as good as he thought he was. He’s so caught up in wanting to be like Crawford, Ward, Floyd, or even want to surpass them, but all those guys stepped up to the plate and took care of business when the pressure was on. Shakur whines about everything and doesn’t hold himself accountable for anything. Tank, Ryan, Haney, are all more popular and with more clout for a reason.

Respect your opinion but history shows if Bob and the matchmakers thought Loma wins that fight, they’d have made it.

Like any boxer, he may have gotten clipped. On paper, his jab and movement keeps Loma at bay the way Teo did- and I think we can agree Shakur is more skilled than Teo in both these areas.

No. He is protecting Loma to make the Tank fight now and Inoue down the road.

He did same for Loma imo when he stalled Walters out for a year and when he got him the emeritus/ franchise designation. He just claimed Loma beat Haney, but then made the Kambosos instead of making the best v the best- Shakur v Loma.
