Nobody is saying that to hate on the guy it's just a fact. He walked Artem what's his face down and his home town still walked out on his fight. Watching Bivol is ****ing enthralling in comparison.

He is not agressive enough and he will never be. He is more worried about not getting hit, which although not a bad thing, it is perceived as boring by many! He is a master technician, not an offensive, entertaining machine.

Shakur is too defensively minded. He probably also suffers from thinking too hard! He can’t throw sustained combos nor can he use footwork to transition quicker from defense to offense.

He’s not going to be able to stop Artem level fighters if he won’t risk putting together punches in bunches. And he doesn’t have the power despite being very accurate.

He’s hard to watch but I wouldn’t favor any fighter 130-140 to beat him.

I have it on good authority that he is packing some serious glass, supposedly he's been put over quite a few times in sparring during exchanges so he fights a cautious, low risk style which is the effective and sensible thing to do to be honest.

And idk why some fans defend that when Shakur himself says he doesn’t care about the fans, that he’s just there to win. He’s said that multiple times now. He’s also explained how he would fight the top names in a boring manner to win.

That’s not how you make the big bucks. Shakur feels he’s entitled to a lot of money based on skills and while he’s highly skilled, you need fans to pay the money so that you can make the money.

And so far he has rejected the fans, very specifically mentioning the fans.

                Huh?

How can you promote this guy then? He’s not exciting to watch and he’s not good at advertising himself either. It’s no wonder Arum only offered him $15m for 5 fights.

Floyd Mayweather TKO’ed Emmanuel Augustus in his homecoming fight, in a bloody fight where he suffered a broken nose because he decided to entertain his hometown fans. He advertised his fighting side. Even though at the time he had already shown it a lot. But he was coming off of a decision win that wasn’t exactly the most exciting fight of his career. So he turned in that performance vs Augustus.

Artem was placed there for Shakur to do that. Give an action packed fight against an overmatched opponent.

Not his fault that his opponents can't figure him out. Trying to outbox him is a bad idea unless they are as good as him. He is too skilled and too clean to outbox, and trying to rush him only leaves them open for counters, and he steals rounds from guys that try to do that.

He can be mad at Bob all he wants but who's dying to see him in the big fights? I barely bother watching him in regular fights for free.
