Comments Thread For: Daily Bread Mailbag: Brilliant Bam, the solution to bad judging, Tank vs. Shakur & Mayweather vs. Camacho

The latest, unmissable Daily Bread Mailbag covers a lot of ground with training at altitude, bad decisions, AI in boxing, the greatest upsets, the potential of Bam Rodriguez and a fantasy matchup between Hector Camacho and Floyd Mayweather Jr just a few of the subjects up for discussion.

They got it wrong. 1-2 PED findings in kickboxing should get you a nice pro Boxing career, 1-2 PED findings as a Boxer should get you a shot at Joshua and then a shot at Dubois, punch a car lot person and they roll out the red carpet and get you a matchup against Andy Ruiz. What a fked up sport!

Why do so many So.Cal fighters burn out early ? Too much cerveza and tortillas in between fights and a face first fighting style that is great to watch but doesn't lend itself to longevity are a couple of factors that I can think of.

The sport of boxing was murdered by the business of boxing years ago. Probably right at birth.

"The biggest issue with the poor officials is they keep getting appointed. The Commissions and the Promoters ENABLE this by allowing them to continue to work. Just make a list of bad officials and see how often they are used after they made a poor decision. That’s the REAL issue. Officials are being REWARDED for bad decisions. So therefore the decision looks corrupt because nothing is done to correct the wrongs"

          Spot on Bread

Plus, nothing is done because the sport has no issues with bad decisions for the most part as long as the guy they want to win gets the benefit of the decision

              nice question

"Tank’s resume is better than people realize: He beat Garcia who has beaten Haney and his victory over Pit Bull Cruz is going to look better as time goes on"

is he really serious with this lol

              where would u even start

"Tank's resume is solid. It's not GREAT and it's not awful. It's solid. Critics get aggravated because they want more. I understand it. But they mislabel his resume because of their frustration"

                frustration? interesting choice of words

i suppose when u label yourself the face of boxing and get all the accolades that tank does without having fought any of the top guys in your division u will end up taking stick for it

The world in general rewards notorious people time and time again. When Tyson bit Holyfield's ear, he should have been banned forever from the sport.

Tanks résumé is like a Stallone flick. Or a Bruce Willis movie. Fun and packed with action but not something out of Juilliard.
