Shakur a problem. Artem will be pissing blood.
People want to see activity, power punches. Not necessarily KO’s. Be active, THROW PUNCHES. Just throw.

Canelo hasn’t had a KO in 3 years, he still sells PPV’s and the general public tune in because he’s active, he fights hard, he lands power punches, you might see a KD or two. He’s also pretty defensively sound. It’s not like he’s in there like Margarito.

Usyk’s 4 big fights at HW have ended in only 1 KO, he’s still very active in there and he’s always working, always landing something good with every combo. So people want to see him.

Shakur is Shakur. Trying to get him to fight like Tank is like trying to get Tank to fight Shakur. It's not happening. Shakur was the more offensive fighter in this fight. He landed the cleaner and more inpactful punches. Landed several beautiful body shots. He turned a tough fighter who Frank struggled with into a literal punching bag.

People say he cant punch but he had Artem on his bike. He felt those bodyshots. I enjoyed it. Different strokes for different folks.

I've never seen one of his weigh-ins before, so IDK if that's typical. But his gaunt appearance really made me question how long his body would hold up to Davis' offense. Boxers really need to stop abusing their bodies; the sport is hard enough as it is without these massive weight cuts.

since Ricardo Jiminez passed away, and Lee Samuels retired, Top Rank might have room for another publicist. You should submit your resume.

Stevenson didn't look very good. He stayed cautious throughout the fight because he WAS getting hit by his opponent. He got hit by quite a few body shots and enough punches to the head...That's why he couldn't go for broke. Artem was really giving Stevenson fits in the 9th 10th and 11th and he was still hanging every step of the way throughout the 12th round. Why do you think Stevenson slowed right down after the 7th or 8th round. Bradley. Tessitore and the ESPN crew were trying to tell a story that wasn't going according to their "hopeful" script. Shakur is a slow-paced fighter that either is too scared to up his work-rate or he's just unable to find that extra gear. His defense was very imperfect tonight. He's giving a lot of people doubts about his potential to be the top dog of the division. Tank would definitely be a favorite to beat Stevenson. I think Zepeda might even be able to drown Stevenson.

Yes, Shakur landed the cleaner more impactful punches. That much is true though it isn't actually saying much, to be honest. He didn't turn anyone into a literal punching bag, or a figurative one either. Artem kept throwing and was never seriously hurt or in any trouble. There were several good body shots landed but again, Artem was never in trouble.

You may have enjoyed the fight but it was obvious that not many did. I watched it, I've certainly seen worse but I'd have been disappointed if I'd paid for the privilege.

I just said people want to see activity, not necessarily/only KO’s. I then mentioned two guys with fan friendly styles and who are defensively responsible, and haven’t really scored a lot of KO’s lately. And your answer is that Shakur can’t fight like Tank?

I’m simply talking about activity. Throwing punches. I’m not talking about KO’s. In fact, I just said Stevenson doesn’t NEED to score KO’s to be exciting. Just pick up the pace, throw more, land more.

Although he definitely looks bad fighting an overmatched opponent and not getting him out of there. His grandpa was even trying to get him to do it. Shakur himself even said “i’ma stop him”, twice. And never actually picked up the pace. But still, the next best thing is just be active, try land big punches. The KO not being there won’t matter if the fight was full of good punches landing.
