Vitali's a nice guy, but when he gets angry, something just switches on. Like when he screamed at Corrie Sanders after Sanders KOd Wlad.

Seriously though, in countries such as the Ukraine, politicians or people in positions of power are NOT going to be intimidated by someone like Klitschko. More imposing and dangerous figures have disappeared or have been found hanging in their hotel rooms for political reasons. Klitschko is a lightweight compared to the Ukranian mafia, which incidentally controls most of the former USSR.

            Why not?

They actually do honest work instead of the Politicians. They work very hard at what they do and when they square off against their opponent they look their opponent in the eye and touch gloves and have an understanding what is about to happen is agreed upon...with rules.

They are citizens of their country and it is their obligation to take part in their society to make it better if they can and not sit on the side-lines to let corrupt **** rule.

All Citizens should take part in making their country better.

Vitali better watch out or he might end up like Alexis Arguello no joke. These boxers want to fix the world they live in but it comes at a price with their lives sadly... No suicide, Arguello was most likely murdered... Sick world we live in.

Co-sign, I agree with you bro. Vitaly is really serious with his political career and i think he can be a good politician, just a hunch. At least he has a concrete plans after hanging up his gloves for good.

I agree with this. I actually think athletes, if they're well informed and intelligent, should get involved more. They already have a big stage where they can produce change, so why not use it for the good of the citizenry?
