Canelo fighting Eubank Jr is even more laughable than him fighting Berlanga.

I mentioned Eubank as a possible option last year so this is no surprise. Once you understand how Canelo is thinking, and moving then all these opponents are viable. He is after easy money marketable fights. Simple. All you need to do is think up fighters who will sell and can make the weight.
The fight isn’t happening in the UK.

Pretty sure it won’t be in the UK.

I prefer either of those fighters over a declined Eubank Jr who is coming off brutal loss and a win to a light middleweight in Liam Smith.

Heck give Janibek or Adames a chance. Not this, after coming off a streak of performances against a heavily declined GGG, Ryder, light middleweight Jermell Charlo and Munguia who had two fights in the division.
I get it, but look at it like this. He fought a lot. And now it seems pretty obvious that he doesn't want top guys. So if you want to tune in to watch him finish some more not-top guys in this later part of his career, you can but that's prob all your gonna get.

If you don't have expectations at this point, then you won't be disappointed.

I think it's the Dubois/Joshua event that makes it unlikely to land in the UK. Both events would cannibalize each other.

US I reckon. Possibly an outside chance it lands in Saudi.
