And Matias's name doesn't even cross Hearn's lips.Give the man a rematch in Australia. He didn't have to give Paro a shot. Don't be a total snake.

"Matchroom's geographical approach"????? Regis has never fought in New Orleans again after that debacle. Dazn will never headline a Matias show again after that debacle. Dazn will realized real soon why American promoters have not made Philly a hotbed to showcase bigtime fights after this upcoming debacle. Paro should venture outside of the land down under to seek fame and fortune like his countrymate Tim did. Dazn is a debacle!

I was with you until the Tim part. Tim was always the favorite even when he lost. Tim was supposed to shine, Paro was supposed to sleep. You can't ignore the glitter and name even in the face of real greatness.

yeah, Hearn doesn't really look after a boxer's longevity or their legacy - he's all about making money for the boxers and himself - and keeping them active. Queensbury is more about good matchmaking and then make money - same with Top Rank. PBC definitely a slow track or no track but if you can rise to the top you will make money - but how long will it take?

Matias shouldn't be discarded - he's an exciting fighter who most want to see. Unfortunately, without a title, now he's really going to be avoided.

weren't you guys just recently saying that MR controlled the 140 div because have all the belts and everyone needs to sign with them? Now PBC has the WBC and WBA and TR has the WBO and Paro has the IBF but isn't under contract with MR. What happened? Damn.....IT WAS ALL GOOD JUST A WEEK AGO HAHAHAHAHSA

I don't really get all the intense interest here with the byzantine machinations of the promotional rivalries.
To me it's like owning a car - the object of utility and pleasure - and the necessary unpleasantness of paying for and dealing with insurance, tags, titles, and taxes. Boxing (the actual fights) is the car. Matchroom, PBC, TR, etc. is the other BS you have to put up with to enjoy the 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager.
