Agreed. His comeback would not be "sensational". Nobody's comeback was sensational, except maybe Foreman, sort of, because he became champ again.

The next worst thing, after young fighters sitting around for a year at a time, is old fighters making a "comeback" and getting handled by opponents who couldn't have beat them in their prime, or at least not so easily (looking at you Gvozdyk).

I know money is tight, even for people who get rich and then spend it away, but fighters ought to be planning ahead.

Barring another country invading your country and wiping out all your savings and investments in the process, don't make a comeback.

When you go, go with a happy farewell. But dont come back in the role of an active fighter; move on.

I think it would be a bad thing for Pac to come back as the 147 division would immediately stagnate as everyone lines up and hopes Pacquaio gives them a rose. I mean 168 is at a standstill with 6, 7 undefeated guys standing doing nothing or taking low risk fights in the hopes Canelo picks them.

That's the sad state of boxing right now. Depending on legends to come out of retirement to create interest and excitement.

it might taint his life style what with those tubes running out of him at the hospital ---- and if the swelling in his brain dont go down then it could effect his appearance as well. not being crude just real about the whole thing what with anything for a buck and a few more PPV dollars and the right carnival barkers and boxing Ghoul's showing up to watch yea real real nice way to make money off the whole boxing situation as it is.................

“… a chance of winning against anyone”? Of course he did. With all the catchweight conditions anyone would have a chance.

manny was already fading over 5 years ago against Broner
