MJ beats Inoue. Mark my words. MJ got robbed against Tapales and has an ailment going into the fight. Inoue isn’t all that yet, if he ever will be.

      Yeah I get it
I think MJ should rematch Tapales before shouting for Inoue

Isn't this the guy that avoided unification with Fulton before Inuoe moved up

Inoue is 31. He doesn't have time to roll everyone who thinks they deserve a shot at him. Instead of going the corny purse bid route, MJ and his management could have approached Inoue"s Japanese promoter respectfully instead of trying to strong-arm. MJ is a good fighter, but he lost to a guy Monster crushed.

Lmao robbed. MJ didn't do anything for 7 rounds straight that's why he lost. And he still refuses to rematch tapales. Tapales showed MJ what his true level was.

Yeah it was very pathetic from MJ's team that they tried to push for purse bid, instead of trying to negotiate a deal with inoue. Do they not understand that inoue won't let any corrupt organization dictate him.

Yep that one. He turned down fulton and kept fighting mandatory after mandatory until tapales beat him up. He fought 4 straight mandatories instead of unifying with fulton.

Anyone else agree we should stop shouting "duck" every time a fighter challenges another/is some sanctioning body's mandatory, and the challenged fighter doesn't fight him immediately?

For decades (since the 3-belt era) standard duck-calling procedure required about a year of a guy fighting other guys instead of the mandatory/loud challenger. Remember, a year in boxing is both a short time & a long time at the same time. After that, all things being equal, yeah you ducked him.

I understand that we've collectively become used to immediate gratification so maybe a year seems like a much longer time than it used to but still, it's like people scream "duck" 30 seconds after a guy gets publicly called out.

Be careful what you ask for. Accusing Inoue of ducking??? If you want to make him mad, give his father a shove, Of all the fighters you could accuse of ducking, he should be the last. He hasn't fought too many mandatories...BECAUSE HE'S FOUGHT ALL THE CHAMPIONS!!!
