  • Where Do We Rate Usyks Chin?

The man has taken some big shots from Chisora, Anthony Joshua, and Fury. He has never been down in his career, but he also doesn't look unfazed either when he takes those big hits.

absolute cast iron on the level of GGG and Hagler.

Absolutely has a granite chin, even the few times he was hurt he recovered and recouped relatively quickly.

He is a natural cruiserweight receiving punches from heavy handed heavyweights that are 20-40 pounds heavier.

Think he is susceptible to getting hurt to the body, but like GGG, he has too much heart and is willing to tough it out.

Obviously very good but also he doesn't get hit flush often at all and I don't think I've ever seen him hit flush from a big puncher.

AJ never caught him clean, he landed some nice jabs, a few cuffing blows, skimmed his chin once or twice with power but never connected clean with anything big.

Fury landed a few clean shots but isn't a big puncher, Otto Wallin stood up to more punishment from fury than Usyk did and he's obviously not that robust.

Usyk's best attribute is riding shots and deflecting power punches, he doesn't have a defence on the level of a mayweather, he is open to jabs etc but when it comes to big power shots he reads them really well and always takes the sting off them. If I was training someone to fight him I'd put super focus on the jab because I think an elite jabber could potentially have a field day with usyk, someone like a Larry Holmes or Lennox Lewis would probably land 25 plus jabs a round on him, hurtful jabs.

I'll give him an A for chin, that would go up to an A+ if I saw him eat a proper power shot on the chin from AJ or Zhang or someone like that.

            - - Usyk top grade AAA+++ chin, but you need a new set of eyeballs as this Frankenstein mug shot is what Usyk looked like after the first AJ bout AFTER they cleaned and stitched him up.

Strong but we don't know. He's tricky with his head and body movement so rarely gets hit flush.

From that shot Gassiev landed alone I would say very strong

I want fury to tell the world who he landed the better uppercut on, was it on dillian whythe or the one he landed on usyk?
Because as we know dillian got koed, and usyk just took a pause.

His chin doesn’t seem to be a problem but obviously has problems taking punches to the bread basket
Maybe that should of been the question
