ha yeah when they were faded, and he never fought margarito even when he was faded. when they were prime oh no he had to duck to preserve his status. and yeah canelo fought ggg when he was 36 and he thought he was faded enough to beat him but he got a rude awakening there in the first, then the 2nd was even, even with his peds, ducked the third for 4 years until ggg was 40, yeah thats better than nothing but its clearly nowhere near close to ideal, bordering on shameful. guys like floyd and canelo wait to fight guys until they are past their best because they are relying on the ignorance of the masses. oh he fought him anyway mentality when for years and years he would not. no other sport would tolerate such garbage, lets wait 5 years to play the super bowl? oh ok...is the other team the same team? nope but people have name recognition and nostalgia, lets take advantage of that. like i said cowardly. oscar would never ever have done that. thats why you should respect him and not these frauds

that is true, i think benavidez will lose pretty soon like every fighter does and canelo fans will say "see, he wasnt that good" or "and you wanted canelo to fight this guy!" etc...etc...they did the same when margarito lost to williams and then mosley while ignoring that he was #1 for 4 years during that stretch and instead of floyd fighting him he fought a bunch of people who were objectively worse: unranked mitchell, zab coming off a loss, hatton moving up, marquez moving up 2 divisions, etc...baldomir for less money even though he was "champ". we all knew baldomir was a bum but he jumped at that fight, had to stall the margarito fight though...telling. oh yeah and floyd simply retired at one point. canelo fake retirement coming soon?Last edited by daggum; 07-02-2024, 12:28 PM.Comment

Because forget Canelo fighting Morrell or Benavidez...
Gotta say, the duck is about as obvious as it gets.Comment

Nuanced-Something that's nuanced has subtle details that make it complex and interesting.
So you’re saying to me…that if you watch that fight and score it 10 times that you’re going to score every single round exactly the same…every time? Not in boxing. Unless you’re watching something like Canelo/Chavez Jr. or Winky Wright/Tito Trinidad or Calzaghe/Jones, Jr.
The fight was close, with either GGG winning by a hair or a draw. The 118-110 Canelo scorecard was ridiculous, though.

Ok but golovkin was 35 on his first canelo fight and he did pretty well, Floyd was 36 when he took gingers 0 , age factor would def be on Benny's side thats no lie but we cant say the same when it comes to overall experience.Comment
