This is a FUN Heavyweight fight that will end in KO!

I have Joshua and Dubois in my top 5 Heavyweights.

Interesting. People just want to say Usyk is top dog and the rest is no matter... I don't particularly care for Joshua and even I respect that if he beats Dubois, which he most likely will, it matters... It would be a good scalp and represent a guy who has emerged as a primo young lion.

There's a lot at stake for both fighters , but in my opinion much more for Joshua. People are sleeping on Big Doobie big time. He's very much a legit danger to Joshua , the opposite is also true. A lot of people are acting like the Big Doob has no shot , and that's a mistake. If Joshua underestimates the Doob like some of ya'll are , he's going to be flat on his back wondering what his name is while merry go round music plays in his head.

Its true. Can Joshua stay mentally able? If he is tagged will he shell up? Dubois has a lot of confidance and he has a good offensive attack. My biggest problem with him is how hittable he is. But he is working things out. He really should look at another guy who goes a long way, arguably with less talent, by being consistently aggressive. That would be Chisora. Chisora has found a way to not get starched, even in losing, and usually getting some good opportunities. I think Derrick could help Dubois a lot... Little things like defensive responsability, head movement, etc.

Mmm. Yeah, it is a good fight, looking forward to it. Probably slightly leaning towards Joshua but not far off a Pick Em at this point.. I'd virtually written off Dubois at one point but he's earned his stripes now, come back from a bad loss and showed he can compete at a high level

              Eric,

Thank you for speaking these two truths.
              1.) This isn't a world championship fight.
and 2.) It's a plenty good match up between two high level contenders.

We need more members of the boxing media to speak like this, leaving behind the "sanctioning" bodies, or at least the pretense that they crown world champions. They don't.

But at the same time, we need those in the boxing media to speak about the actual significance of contests made between two contenders. Because, especially in this day of one or two fights a year or fighter, it's a big deal.

              Thanks again,
              Dan

A good fight between two contenders, but the winner can only be Uk champion or a paper champion.

Then you folks should also stop attacking Canelo and calling WBC corrupt allowing Canelo to ignore his mandatory challenger David Benavidez for years.

People tend to use double standards these days, one for their favo and one for the rest. Consistency sshould be valued when it comes to enforcing agreed rules. Usyk and Tipsy King knew befor they agreed an immediate rematch that the winner of the undisputed championship bout must first honour his IBF mandatory obligation with his next fight before the rematch can take place but now Usyk chose what is solely good for him and banked on sympathy from some section of the boxing community and media. And some folks are attacking IBF and try devalue the IBF champion. That is wrong.

Besises, the undisputed championship is not for a lifetime, you lose that status once you have lost one of the belts and it doesn't matter how. That AJ and DDD have lost vs Usyk in the past is totally irrelevant here for there's no guarantee that he will beat both of them again if he fights them. So, I don't buy this sentimental and nonsensical narrative some folks are trying to push into the throat of everyone.

AJ would have to rebuild for a year or fight someone good off a loss, and that would be that. That fight's always on the table.
