    Canelo’s Resume vs Pacquiao’s Resume

Please, let’s keep the hate and jokes out of this and have an educated discussion. Both of their resumes are among the best ever in boxing. Who really has the better resume in your opinion?

      Pac > Alvarez
Arguably 8 division champion over 4 or 5 division champ.
1 got caught with PED's and suspended.
Alvarez becoming undisputed in 1 of the weakest divisions in boxing is the only "1 up" he has over Pac.
      I don't think there's anything to compare.

Pac had better resume. 3 Mexican ATGs. Cotto, DLH, thurman.

Pacquaio is among the top ATG fighters out there. He will be rank as one of the Top 20 Fighters of all time for years to come. Maybe even Top 10, all debatable of course.

Canelo is barely ATG but absolutely First Ballot HOF. One of the best fighter today.

In terms of level of opposition. Dela Hoya Resume is probably the only fighter i have over Pacquaio the last 20 years or so. That's how good Pacquaio competition was. He fought almost every one.

Pacquiao by far. Canelo got at least 3 gift decisions in his career while Manny was arguably robbed at least 3x in his career. He fought trilogies with Morales, Bradley and Marquez 4x. Defeated a young prime Thurman at age 41 and handled Cotto much easier. Won titles in 8 weight classes and even skipped over two that he could have won. Never ducked anyone the way Canelo is shamelessly avoiding Benavidez.

Not comparable imo. Canelo has a lot of asterisks. Trout Open Scoring, Lara fight, the Floyd Draw score card(which showed how favoured he is)

Pac just has the Cotto 145 weight issue which wasn't too bad as he weighed in at 146 his previous fight.

Pacquiao came back from one of the worst KOs in boxing history to dominate an entirely new era of welterweight. Just insane

                It's a ridiculous comparison.

                Pacquaio by miles.
