This is why women should stay in the kitchen.

I'll pray Heather's health improves and that the next chapters of her life are rewarding in every definition of the word. She was a warrior and pioneer for women's boxing. The accolades are there, but sadly the $ wasn't. Get well, champ!

After all, the defined role of the NYSAC is to ensure the health and safety of the participants. New York sanctioned 26 out of Heather’s 28 professional fights, and the NYSAC was optimally situated to establish medical baselines to diagnose and prevent Heather’s debilitating injuries.
My sentiments exactly! And her corner was no better than the athletic commission to allow her to take that much punishment.

You'd think the NYSAC would've done better after the Perez/Magomed fight which left Magomed brain dead.

Wow, I've always admired Heather & I admire her even more now.

Lady is a straight warrior 100%

Hopefully, she fights for her fighters the way she fought in the ring, so she can be successful as hell.

That is a sad story to read, she doesn’t even have a house. I hope she can be successful in her new manager role and that she can make money to support herself long term.

Hopefully some of the people with deep pockets in boxing can help her out in some way.
