That guy regularly has the best fighting the best. He doesn't marinate and doesn't want to hear excuses from fighters. He tells them to get their asses in that cage and get it cracking.

How I wish boxing was like this.

Hes an ******* clearly but you need yo be to do what he's done as consistently as he's done it.

Best fighting the best for decades with no drama, bar a few Jon Jones related incidents. He's the man tbh

Tbh the UFC is run in a very half assed and complacent way these days. Theres still great cards here and there like the one this weekend but then on the other hand 4 years after the peak of Covid panic they're still using that ****ing Apex center with 10 people in the crowd for almost HALF of their ****ing events, its ridiculous. Most of the non-PPV cards are completely throwaway too. They've also just had Conor pull out of what would have been his first fight in 3 years, Khamzat barely fights and just pulled out which ****ed the main event of last weekends card, their HW champ left for boxing, Jon Jones wants to defend against a 41 year old who hasnt fought in 3 years and hasnt won in 4 etc.

he has his pros and cons.

UFC the lower level fighters have it better than boxing. boxing the higher level fighters have it better but i really dont care that UFC's superstars only got a few million instead of tens of millions, its up to them to invest it they will still never have to work again if they dont waste it on dumb chit.

percent going to fighter pay could be higher but UFC is a for profit company not a league like the NFL with the teams being for profit.

the best do fight the best way way more often than boxers.

its not all sun shine and rainbows though, they did mighty mouse dirty and basically said youre boring and its too easy so lets cancel youre division. like wtf he just cant fight anymore? i mean not even on the damn undercards?

yeah i would say they are overall better to their fans than boxing is but they still have their own problems.

boxing is the king of being ******ed though. every week its something. Now the IBF says Usyk we got to take your belt and let two guys you already beat fight for it. u ***ing wut m8te? on what planet does that make any sense.

Yeah theres a definite lack of star power in the last few years. Conor and Jones are technically still there but in practice not really. Their MVP right now is probably a 36 year old who came over from kickboxing less than 3 years ago and who isnt on anywhere near the level of star power of the names you mentioned.
