Being an elite fighter is so much more than having heart in the ring. You need to have enthusiasm to improve, enthusiasm to train, and an ego that can deal with losses. Some people are just never going to make it or stay at the top for long.

Andy Ruiz. I don't think he's the hardest puncher, but I'll say this: I have never been more concerned for sparring partners’ health and well-being than when Andy would spar them. Like, he had the ability to really cause damage and to hurt people permanently. I was even concerned about people getting killed sparring against him.
Parker said Ruiz hit harder than Joshua did, so he's got to be one of the hardest hitters in the division - probably just behind Wilder and Zhang.

Yeah it's pretty sad when you hear James Toney talk today. He's barely Coherent and that's just years of taking punches. He always had great punch resistance but kind of a curse for him because he take so many blows to the head in the ring fighting and he had like 90 fights and sparring thousands of rounds aswell over the years. Only so much the brain can take before it becomes effected and were seeing that today with Him and others

Justin mentions Jonathan Reid. I bowl with him, super nice guy who talks boxing with me all the time. Still in great shape!
