  • Comments Thread For: 'Put Some Respect On My Name' Says Denny As He Targets Eubank And Co After Beating Cash

The five rounds that Tyler Denny spent in the ring with Felix Cash might just have been the most impressive of the European middleweight champion's career.

Cash just never looked the same after that Bentley win. Inactivity and probably not living the life outside the ring has seem to got to him.. were as Denny is a guy who's worked hard from the small shows taking losses and then rebuilding and get himself to where hes at now. Hope he gets a big fight next

Cash had been out for 18 months. Of course he was losing this one. I'm surprised the bookies had him the favourite. But hey, i'm not complaining. I made bank on this. At least it was a cut stoppage and nothing more serious.

Let Denny beat someone of substance who isn't badly inactive before calling him world class. Only then will he show what he's got. The odds were too far in his favour last night for it to mean anything.

The referee saved him from a knockout loss

'So that 1 ko is true?'

Denny & Conah Walker both came up the hard way, appearing down the bill & not being given any favours. Guys like that don't get to pad their records out. Tyler Denny has never fought anyone who expected to lose the fight. So, yeah, he has had to scrap for every win. That doesn't mean he can't punch so much as he's never met anyone obliging.

I must say I'm surprised there's not been mention of a rematch. Tyler Vs The Nathan Heaney/Brad Pauls II winner could work well this Autumn.

I'm not saying the ref didn't. I'm saying being out for that long was pretty much guaranteeing his defeat one way or another. He needed a warm up fight just to get the rust off and get his timing down. You don't jump into those kind of fights under those conditions.

Considering the many fights Eddie has had like that, you'd had thought Cash would have been a little more clued up. But no, he's another who fell to the same fate.
