I'm no Tank hater, but Floyd was just a different level of fighter. His technical skills were in a different league to Tank, he'd have outboxed him pretty damn easily imho.

Although historically Floyd struggled vs small fighters tank doesn't move his hands to exploit in Floyd's slight kinks vs south paws...

Dude, stop with your ridiculous nonsense. Rankings are fine for you with non American boxers.

Soon as the boxer is an American, especially if he is associated with Haymon, you suddenly start questioning the rankings.

Floyd beat more Top 5 ranked guys post Ndou than he did pre Ndou. And we all know how you feel about rankings and their importance. So how do you land on that position knowing these "facts" as you like to call them?

I mean, just yesterday you were giving Ken Norton credit for beating Duane Bobick Because he was ranked #4. Despite the fact the chances of you having watched a single second of Duane Bobick's career is nestled safely at 0%.

Just days before that you were giving Pacquaio credit for beating David Diaz who was ranked #2.

So surely, to you at least, Floyd's level of opposition actually increased post Ndou.
and how many years did floyd fight post ndou? floyd had fought on the championship level for only 5 years when he fought ndou. he fought for another 14 years after that. not really comparing the same thing now are we? 5 years to 14, and if you look at the stats floyd fought 4 fights against the #1 best guy in the division in that first 5 year span and only had 4 fights against the #1 best guy in the division in his last 14 years and one of those was a catchweight fight so that is dubious. thats a pretty dramatic drop in level. just like i said. even when you look at top 5 guys, he fought 5 pre ndou and 9 after so 5 in 5 years and then 9 in 14 years. how is that not a drop in opposition?

no it surely did not increase as the numbers show.

i am evaluating everyone equally. you just dont like that it makes people like tank and wilder look bad. thats the whole point. i never said floyd fought bums or anything like that. i said he cherry picked, avoided fights and waited for people to get old which is unequivocally true. why you are insulted or find that controversial i have no idea. i dont just cite rankings and then turn my brain off, the rankings are simply a guide to follow. the guys he fought pre ndou were more impressive. the guys he fought post ndou all had a catch. pre ndou floyd wouldnt wait for pac and cotto to be knocked out etc...
