This is the way boxing has always worked - build someone up and then cash them out (Lomachenko) - passing the name value on. Meaning most of the time we never see the fights at the right time. Arum did the same thing with Beterbiev - time to make that fight was 3/4 years ago.

Thank Allah for Turki - we get competitive and compelling matchups at the right time.

Well I can see Tank beating Loma with his counterpunching, while he has no chance against Stevenson.

I think Shakur wants the big money, but not the big fights. talented kid but there is some reason why he don't get in with top guys. promoters know their weaknesses and match them.accordingly. same with tank. they had no problem putting Teo in with Loma, in his 16th pro fight. Teo has had some top competition. which means they know he can get it done and don't have weak chin etc. these other two, not so sure

If that's the case, he would be way more weary of Davis' power and could fight a self-preserve style type fight and maybe win an unpopular decision. That's why Davis vs Loma is more interesting due to their styles.
I dont think shakur wins a decision vs davis by fighting that same way.

No disrespect, but who's De Los Santos? Not saying he's not a good fighter, but he was brought in to be B-side and that's how the judges treated it. Shakur won't get the A-side treatment vs the Davis.

Shakur needs a common opponent to Loma/Davis, before fighting any of them. Prove yourself at that calibre and then compare the performance. At this point who is Stevenson in the first place ? If he does not get past a Kambosos or a Cruz, what is the point in fighting Tank or Loma ? All wasted time for better fights that could have happened.
