Edwin Valero vs Tank Davis one of the best fantasy fights of all time.

My goodness this would be hell. It's a shame how Valero went out....dude was 27-0 with 27 KOs. I think he would've stopped Tank.

Somebody is getting knocked out for sure. I favour Tank. He’s more accurate and composed.

Yes stank is or was more accurate puncher but I’d say Valero hit a lot harder than Tank and that would be the intrigue in this fight ; if Edwin could catch him

I think Valero would had shocked Tank with his punching power, granite chin and ferocity. Wouldn't be odd if Edwin scored multiple knockdowns or beat him onto a bloody pulp considering Davis himself gets caught fairly often.

However Valero's recklessness might be his downfall against Davis's timing. Not that he lacked defense, he could slip punches utilizing waist movement and block with his gloves. But you could catch him clean while he was on the offensive. He had a porous defense similiar to let's say Eduardo "Sugar" Nunez. But then again he was never stopped and always recouped.

I see this as a close bout because despite Valero's atheltic ability and KO ratio, he did not live up to his potential due to his personal demons where he could focus and polished his skills further and compensate for his flaws.

Yeah Valero had more raw power, whereas Tank is more accurate and looks to explode with a counter.

Tank needs to stop depending on his power cause giving 6 rounds away can easily be 12
Shakur can outbox him for six and then run from him for six
He’s gotta fix that before it’s to late
Anyway imo Valero would win although he had that face first defence with that granite chin , my thinking is his power would detract Tank from opening up
Don’t get me wrong Valero gets hit a bunch

Shakur is the one guy I’d pick to beat him at 135. I think that’s a tough stylistic matchup for Tank.

All class C fighters have ever fought have put a dent in his face. Valero comes back from the dead today and fights as a corpse and still kills tank.
