What about the money Garcia won betting on himself? That bet becomes void right? Which means the bookies are gonna come knocking on his door.

No all bets are final. Sometimes athletes are disqualified years later after a drug scandal the winner of the bet could be dead for all the bookies know.

Hopefully though, New York is not as twisted in their boxing admin as the injustice in their courts.

A 1 year suspension is nothing for an athlete who can afford to fight annually. Should have been 2 years.

His retirement announcement is a way to skirt testing while suspended.

The penalty should be changed to 1 continuous year of strict testing before re-instatement of his license to fight in the US.

Conte and Memo should be permanently banned from the sport.
